Franklin Little League is an all-volunteer-led organization.  We depend on player parents, friends, and relatives, as well as other interested community members to help maintain and grow our organization.  Board Members, Managers, Coaches, Coordinators, and many others comprise the army of folks that it takes to put on a Little League season and the associated events, every year.

The following are some opportunities to help out with Franklin Little League each year.  As a reminder, Franklin Little League collects volunteer fees every year with the request that each family will provide four or more hours of volunteer time, per regular FLL season player registration (other than Challenger or Senior Divisions), to receive these fees back at the end-of-season Annual Picnic & Awards.

  • Board Member
  • Team Manager (1 per team)
  • Team Coach (maximum 2 per team)
  • Challenger Buddy
  • Challenger Buddy Coordinator

You may click on any available links, above, to register yourself as a volunteer in the online volunteer sign-up system.  If links are not active, that means that we have not yet scheduled the event or determined the number of people needed.

Further, every September/October, elections are held for Board Member and Coordinator positions.  We are always in need of people to help out and replace retiring Board Members and Coordinators.  Positions range from Sponsorships to League President, and from Treasurer to Division Director.  Please see the list of Board Members and Coordinators to understand the diverse options that are available.

Note:  Regular Little League season Managers receive full volunteer credit for their time and are not required to provide more volunteer time for their families.  Regular Little League season Coaches receive half volunteer credit for their time and are only required to volunteer half of the normal expected volunteer time.

Volunteer Positions Requiring Background Checks
The following positions require a background check conducted by Franklin Little League.

  • Manager/Coach
  • Board Member
  • Challenger Buddy
  • Challenger Buddy Coordinator

If you registered for one of these positions, you must submit one of the following before starting to perform your volunteer duties.  If submitting the “New Volunteer” form, this must be submitted with a copy of government-issued photo identification (driver’s license, passport, etc.).  These documents can be submitted in person at the January Information Day, emailed to Background Check Submission, or mailed to Franklin Little League, P.O. Box 320301, Franklin, Wisconsin 53132.
