All American Celebration - 7/20 Updates

Pictures, Picnic & More!

Dear Families:

Baseball has been a tradition in the United States since the 1800s and has been called our "national pastime" for centuries.  The popularity of our beloved sport has varied through the years yet it continues to endure the test of time.  The unprecedented times we are living in and our ability to come out to the ball field and enjoy a game will certainly be a big part of our memories for years to come.  What better way to celebrate this then to have an All-American theme on the fields this week, especially since the Brewers start play this week!

All American Week & Pictures - Starting Tuesday, July 21st stop up at concessions and grab a dog, put on some baseball tattoos and buy your raffle tickets for some summer fun baskets donated by our sponsors.  Franklin Volition will be out at the fields, the Mathnasium mascot will be visiting again as will Scoopy from Culver's.  And the best news of all.... School and Sports Pics will be onsite Tuesday through Friday to do team and individual photos.  Coaches will be getting an email tonight - your team's scheduled time will coincide with your games scheduled this week.

Equipment Exchange - Don't forget about the equipment exchange in the bathroom lobby area - if you need something, take it.  If you have something you're done with, donate it!  Pass the message on.

Fall Ball & Fall Clinics - Be on the look out for registration information regarding both a fall session of play as well as fall skill clinics at the Little League fields.

Annual Picnic - we will continue to host our annual picnic on August 8th from 11-3pm at the Little League Complex.  We will divide out by divisions this year and your Division VP and coaches will be communicating more over the next week.  Mark your calendars for this fun event.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase, the racing sausages will be making an appearance, raffle baskets will be available as will silent auction items.  We can't wait to see you there!  Volunteer time must be satisfied by this event and there will be limited slots available on that date.

Next weeks theme: A tribute to our coaches and sponsors!

Kind Regards,

Heather Herling, Interim President
